I'm just getting started:

Ascher/Straus: The Other Planet and Red Moon/Red Lake

Han Ong: The Dispossessed

Alvin Lu: The Hell Screens

Stacey Levine: Frances Johnson

Roberto Bolano: Distant Star and The Savage Detectives

The Savage Detectives is my favorite book I've read this centiry. A book about the Latin America I know and love, without miraculous and sentimental love stories, but full of homosexuals, prostitutes, avant garde poets and intellectual ambition. It made me weep at least twice.

Dodie Bellamy: Pink Steam

Juan Goytisolo: Count Julian

Clarice Lispector: The Passion According to GH

R Zamora Linmark: Rolling the Rs

Joy Williams: State of Grace

Cesar Aira: An Episode in the Life of a Landscape Painter

Upon reading about the strange mental fits of this 19th century landscape painter, following an experience involving lightning and a horse, I began having strange mental fits of my own. Be warned.
